Late Cancellation/No Show Policy

What is considered a late cancellation/no show?

Cancellations must be made 24 hours ahead of a scheduled appointment time. Any cancellation made within 24 hours is considered a late cancellation. Patients who arrive 10 or more minutes late will be considered a no show.

Late cancellation/no show fee?

Patients are granted one late cancellation or no show without penalties. Further late cancellations or missed appointments for any reason are subject to a charge of $50 per hour of scheduled time.

Why are we doing this?

When patients miss their scheduled appointments, our providers are unable to see other patients. By canceling in advance, you're helping us provide timely care to all patients.

We know things can change unexpectedly, and we aim to be understanding. Common reasons for late cancellations or missed appointments include:

  • Work conflicts
  • Feeling unwell
  • Sick family members
  • Transportation issues
  • Personal or family emergencies

While we recognize these situations, the late cancellation policy still applies after your one-time exception.

NOTE: You will never be charged for a cancellation made more than 24 hours in advance. As always, our office will continue sending reminders via email, text, or phone call.
